Halle Berry's custody battle and bid to move to France with her daughter Nahla just got a bit more A-list.

Halle is looking for full custody of Nahla with ex-husband Gabriel Aubry getting visitation rights. In addition, she's also requesting that a judge allow her to move to France with Nahla in order to escape the oppressive glare of American paparazzi. It sounds like a big request, which is why she enlisted Salma Hayek as her main witness in the court hearing, according to TMZ. And not because she's hoping to distract the judge with how hot Salma is. Well, maybe not entirely, at least.

Salma has ended up being the key witness for Halle because she's married to a French billionaire and spends a great deal of time in France with her young daughter. She will tell the judge that the paparazzi in France are way less aggressive due to tougher laws and the move will allow Nahla to live some semblance of a normal life.

There will also be video at the hearing to prove how cray-cray Halle's current life is, including the media onslaught she and Salma received earlier this week while leaving a restaurant in Hollywood. Considering that a custody evaluation has already shown that Halle is the better parent between her and Gabriel, we might be saying bon voyage to Halle by the end of the year!
