Move over Christian Bale.... There's a new action hero in town! Jeremy Renner and The Bourne Legacy took over the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend, as The Dark Knight Rises fell to No. 3.
Raking in just over $40 million, the fourth film in the Bourne franchise featuring Matt Damon's replacement Jeremy Renner, was met with huge success at the box office. While Will Ferrell's comedy The Campaign landed at No. 2 with $27.4 million.
The Dark Knight Rises was No. 3 with $19.5 million, followed by Hope Springs at No. 4 with $15.6 million. And last, but not least, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days at No. 5 with $8.2 million.
