If the pre-sale buzz for the latest Kirsten Dunst movie is any indication, it looks to be a guaranteed box office smash!

On-demand and digital releases have been growing rapidly in recent years, but the trend just reached a new milestone today. Kirsten's latest flick Bachelorette doesn't even hit select theaters until September 7, but it's already No. 1 on the iTunes movie chart! This marks the first time a film has hit that benchmark before its theatrical release, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The movie also stars Izzy Fisher and Lizzy Caplan as the three ladies go on an epic pre-wedding bender. So basically, this is a chick-flick version of The Hangover.

Bachelorette premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to rave reviews. It looks like that select theater release may need to be expanded, and quickly!
