If you've ever had an office romance, you know how much it sucks to go back to work with your ex after breaking up. If you're a celebrity though, it seems like that's an avoidable issue.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will not have to be in the same room for the foreseeable future since they've both declined to appear at the last four Twilight conventions EVER! The first convention is this Saturday in San Antonio and then followed by Detroit (September 29), Parsippany, NJ (October 5) and Los Angeles (November 3). And the news doesn't get any better for Twi-hards: according to E! Online, Taylor Lautner also won't be making an appearance at any of them either!

Despite the absence of the main stars of the Twilight saga, Creation Entertainment, which is orchestrating the conventions, put on a public happy face. "The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family," they wrote in a statement.

Even if the cheating scandal between Kristen and Rob never happened, it's unclear whether the trio would have attended in the first place though. The "stars" at movie conventions are usually crew members and actors with extremely minor roles. And even though they attended Twilight conventions last year, they may have been put off by just how rabid their fans are. Plus, Kristen probably didn't want to look at a sea of Trampire shirts when she got there.

Are you surprised Kristen and Rob are not appearing at any of the final Twilight conventions?
