Rosie O'Donnell's former co-hosts on The View may have wondered at times whether she had a heart, but it's been more than confirmed she does after suffering a nearly fatal heart attack last week.
The TV personality is now recovering after the health crisis that took place at her home and doctors later discovering that her coronary artery was 99 percent blocked. "She is now home and resting comfortably. She is very, very lucky," said Rosie's rep to People Magazine.
Rosie credited quick internet research and a Bayer commercial advising people to take the drug if they're suffering from a heart attack with saving her life. She wrote on her blog that she experienced an achy chest, nausea and clammy skin. "maybe this is a heart attack," she wrote. "i googled womens heart attack symptoms/i had many of them/but really? – i thought – naaaa."
Rosie admitted that she didn't dial 911 at the time, which is how many women die each year from their heart attacks. "by some miracle i was not one of them," she wrote. "know the symptoms ladies/listen to the voice inside/the one we all so easily ignore/CALL 911/save urself." Let's hope she makes a full recovery soon!
