Prince William has been very affectionate with his wife, Kate Middleton, during the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London, but the famous royal was "absolutely dreading" getting caught by the kiss cam.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been spotted cheering on their country at various events throughout the games, and they aren't afraid of a little pda, but for the prince, he just didn't want to be displayed on the kiss cam.
"I was absolutely dreading they were going to come and show myself and my wife and that would have been very embarrassing," William told the BBC of the kiss cam at the cycling event. He then went on to praise Scottish cyclist, Sir Chris Hoy, for winning the gold and setting a new world record.
"That was absolutely fantastic, the world record being beaten and the atmosphere in there was electric." William was joined by his brother Prince Harry, who is also an Olympic ambassador, for the BBC interview, during which they also praised the British public, the military and all the volunteers who've helped out during the games, PEOPLE reports.
Are the Duke and Duchess the cutest royal couple or what?
