OMG! It's finally here -- Robert Pattinson's first interview since news went public that Kristen Stewart cheated on him!

The actor sat down with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show Monday afternoon, and although he appeared a bit awkward and uncomfortable during the chat, he got through it without talking too much about the cheating scandal directly.

In an effort to break the ice, Jon started out the interview by offering Rob some Ben and Jerry's ice cream, joking that it's what got him through his last break up. "So what are we doing here? Are you all right? Is everything okay? I'm worried about you!" Jon prompted. While Rob didn't answer the questions directly, he did say, "My biggest problem in my life is that I'm cheap and I didn't hire a publicist," adding that if he had, he would know exactly what to say in this particular situation.

In the end, Jon offered Rob his condolences before chatting about Cosmopolis, the real reason for the interview. "When you are young and you break up, it's powerful and it feels like the world is ending," Jon told Rob. "This is the first time I've seen the world actually react that way. It's insanity. Here is my wish for you, that you get to handle your business in private, in your personal life, and I wish you all the best."
