Yup, this is how awesome Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are. The couple is used to having to deal with constant attention from the paparazzi wherever they go, but this time they decided to use it to their benefit.
While grabbing a bite at a NYC restaurant – with paparazzi outside waiting for them – they wrote a little note for all see. Their signs read, “We just found out that there are paparazzi outside the restaurant we are eating in. So why not take this opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it? www.wwo.org and www.gildasclubnyc.org. Have a great day!”
Emma and Andrew took their celeb status and applied it to help raise awareness for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation and Gilda’s Club of New York City. How amazing is that? Hey Justin Bieber, take note – THIS is how it’s done.
The Worldwide Orphans Foundation helps orphans become “independent, productive members of their communities and the world,” according to their site, while Gilda’s Club NYC is a site of support for cancer sufferers.
Bravo Emma and Andrew. Bravo.
What do you think about how Emma and Andrew handled their paparazzi situation? Should more stars follow in their footsteps?
