As always, there was plenty to talk about at this year's MTV Video Music Awards!
From Kevin Hart's controversial (and largely unfunny) hosting job, to crazy outfits and performances both good and bad, this year's awards show kept us talking long after it ended. Check out our picks for some of the biggest highlights of the night -- in both photo and video!
Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Live)
We have to admit, this one fell a little flat for us. There's a difference between choreographing a performance and having it feel staged. Speaking of staged, Taylor's stage dive at the end was about the least punk rock thing we've ever seen and did no favors for her.
One Direction - One Thing (Live)
The boys said before the show they wanted to "make a moment" with their performance and they certainly did just that! This is probably one of the better live performances of their young careers.
Frank Ocean - Thinking Bout You (Live)
Frank's bare, stripped-down performance was widely considered to be the best one of the night -- and we have to agree! The man is a true musical talent and it's only a matter of time before he starts racking up his own moonmen awards.
Rihanna's Video of the Year Acceptance Speech
The final category of the night displayed two things. One, Rihanna looked absolutely stunning. And two, Kevin Hart is just about the most irritating, unfunny person on the planet. Seriously, MTV, PLEASE get someone better to host next year! We're happy to give you suggestions.
Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Sneak Peek
Ironically, one of the most talked about events of the Video Music Awards had nothing to do with music. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner showed up to tease the upcoming Breaking Dawn flick. And if that butt-kicking at the end of it is any indication, it's going to be really, REALLY good!
The Worst Outfit of the VMA's. Actually, Probably Ever.
Who is Alexander Antebi? No, seriously, we have no idea who this guy is. But the "competitive moustache champion" and member of the group Conquistador somehow managed to get on the red carpet and made one hell of a first impression.
What is your favorite moment from the VMA's?
