When you think of boy bands, people automatically go back of the classics – ‘NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees. And then, of course, there are the newbies – One Direction, The Wanted, Big Time Rush, you get the idea. But what about those few that were in our hearts for a split second, who we thought we would love forever, only to find out that they just didn’t have what it took to be a part of the competitive world of boy bands?

In honor of National One Hit Wonder Day (yes, it’s a real thing), let’s take a look at some of our favorite one-hit wonder boy bands. The teenybopper in us is getting giddy all over again.

THE BAND: Soul Decision

THE HIT: Faded, 1999

Where Are They Now: It's kind of unknown what these fellas are up to now. Probably walking around the glory days that were 1999.

THE HIT: I'll Be Your Everything, 1999

Where Are They Now: These guys have honestly fallen off the face of the Earth. But look at that picture. I have NO idea why these guys didn't last.

THE HIT: Hey Juliet, 2002

Where Are They Now: Since these guys were the backups for O-Town's during the first season of Making the Band, basically nobody wanted them. Again, nobody knows where they are these days!

THE BAND: Dreamstreet

THE HIT: It Happens Everytime, 2000

Where Are They Now: See the one in the red t-shirt? Yeah, that's Jesse McCartney. He had a mini version of Justin Timberlake's career. The rest? They all "tried" to pursue solo career, except Matt who is the lead singer Open Till Midnight.

THE HIT: U + Me = Us (Calculus), 2000

Where Are They Now: Sadly, QT (Michael Cuccione) passed away in 2001 from cancer. The rest of the guys decided to go ahead and film a reunion film with the proceeds going to Michael Cuccione Foundation.
