In the world of reality competition shows, there are few that make it out alive and even fewer that go on to have lengthy careers. However, Pentatonix seem primed to be one of the few who can pull off that feat.

The a capella group of five vocalists from Texas won the third season of NBC show The Sing-Off last November, claiming the $200,000 grand prize and a recording contract with Sony. They released their debut EP last June, PTX Vol. 1, which cracked No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 200. Now they've been taking their act out on the road and spoke with Hollywire's own Chelsea Briggs about their experiences touring the country!

"We just did the first 11 shows, all sold out. It was craziness," said member Scott Hoying. "It was the first time for all of us to really travel the country, so it was fun. And it was fun getting to do our show every night because it’s getting better and better and we’re starting to perfect our act."
