Scarlett Johansson is heading back to Broadway!

The actress earned rave reviews for her 2009 Broadway debut in A View From the Bridge, which ultimately earned her a Tony Award. Now she's hoping lightning will strike twice when she returns to the stage for the role of Maggie "the cat" in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Veteran stage actors Ciaran Hinds and Debra Monk have also signed on for the production, according to E! Online.

Benjamin Walker will play the role of her drunken husband in the story about the downward spiral of a wealthy Southern family in Mississippi. The Scar-Jo production will take place at the Richard Rodgers Theater, with previews beginning on December 18 and opening night on January 17 of next year.

Scarlett has hardly abandoned her film career though. She's got two films that are currently in post-production now: Under the Skin, scheduled for release later this year, and Hitchcock, which will hit theaters in November.
