It looks like taking Charlie Sheen's job came with more benefits than we realized.
In becoming the new star of Two and a Half Men last year, Ashton Kutcher also took Charlie's position as the highest paid actor on television! The Warlock previously made $40 million for his cushy gig, but he's not even in the top 10 for earnings this time around. Ashton now holds the top spot on Forbes' latest list of well-paid actors with his $24 million check for work over the last 12 months, according to E! Online.
Ray Romano continues to struggle professionally ever since Everybody Loves Raymond went off the air in 2005, but that show is still syndicated like crazy internationally and earned him $18 million over the last 12 months. 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin and NCIS star Mark Harmon each tied for third place with $15 million.
Tim Allen came in at No. 4 after earning $14 million for one of the worst shows in recent memory with Last Man Standing. Ashton's co-star Jon Cryer rounds out the top five with $13 million for his role on the show. And after recently winning an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, expect that number to go way up in the coming months.
