Just one more week until Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries – SO excited!

Hollywire’s own Chelsea Briggs caught up with Candice Accola backstage at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas and got her to dish some dirt on what’s to come for Caroline and the gang this season!

Candice gave us a brief rundown of the season premiere – telling us that it’s centered on what happens in the 24-hours after Elena opens her eyes. Plus, Candice’s vampire alter ego Caroline thinks her boyfriend Tyler (Michael Trevino) is dead, so it should be an interesting reveal when she finds out he’s alive…well, sort of! Candice said Caroline will “find out pretty quickly that Klaus has taken over his body and that the love of her life is still potentially alive. You know, all the normal high school stuff!”

When asked what a day on ‘The Vampire Diaries’ set is like, Candice said that things can get pretty exhausting. But not because of the lines, it’s really because there are so many stunts! And this episode is no exception - Candice told us to stay tuned for a lot of big action moments in the premiere!

Sounds like things are gonna get pretty intense this season! Can’t. Wait! Season 4 kicks off next Thursday, October 11th on the CW.
