If this is how the libel lawsuit against Britney Spears' parents Jamie and Lynn is shaping up after a few days, we're a little scared to find what other accusations will be thrown around if this drags on in court.

Britney's former manager Sam Lufti is suing her parents for libel on the basis that their accusations of him manipulating her at a personal low point have destroyed his career. Jamie and Lynn have accused Sam in court of giving Britney adderall, which fueled her amphetamine addiction, but he vehemently denied this according to Daily Mail. Sam admitted he has a prescription for the drug because he suffers from ADD, but said he never shared his meds with Britney and that she abused her own amphetamine prescription.

Jamie and Lynn also fought back against the libel accusations by claiming that Sam had no previous experience in the entertainment industry and therefore no credentials to manage Britney's career. Sam categorically denied this, claiming he served as an associate producer on a Ben Affleck project and shot videos for '90s girl group En Vogue. In addition, he is now the co-manager for Courtney Love. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is. And a separate issue...Courtney needs more than one manager?! Because she's so busy these days?

As of now, Britney is not expected to be present or take part in any aspect of the trial.
