It seems like it’s been forever since we’ve got Adele serenading us with her unbelievable pipes, you know, since she’s been pregnant and all. But she’s back to show everyone who’s boss with Skyfall, the theme song to the upcoming James Bond flick hitting theaters in November. Spoiler alert: she still kicks ass!

Adele co-wrote the song with songwriter Paul Hepworth and it is phenomenal! Seriously, she’s got an Oscar nomination in the bag.

Many were speculating whether Adele was really lending her vocal chops to the film, but she confirmed the news this week by tweeting a photo of the sheet music for the song. She released a statement, saying, “I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall. There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end.”
