You know you're at the top of the music game when you can't even be bothered to collect your own awards!

Kanye West was nominated in damn near every category this year at the BET Hip Hop Awards, racking up a total of 17 (!!) nominations. It was pretty much a guarantee he'd leave with something and Yeezy ending up taking home seven awards last night, including CD of the Year and Track of the Year. Only he didn't really take them home because Kanye was a no-show at the event!

Kanye took home Track of the Year and Best Club Banger for his song with Jay-Z Ni**** in Paris and the duo shared the award for Best Live Performer. Kanye and Jay's collaboration album Watch the Throne also won CD of the Year.

What else was absent besides Kanye? The violence between Young Jeezy and Rick Ross that marred the show's taping and briefly forced the event to be shut down never made it to air.
