Conservative family (read: bigot) group One Million Moms have unsuccessfully attempted to take Ellen DeGeneres and NBC show The New Normal off the air, but it's not stopping them from continuing to go after programs with gay themes.
ABC Family is getting ready to air The Fosters, a show executive-produced by Jennifer Lopez that centers around two women raising an ethnically diverse brood of both biological and adoptive children. That isn't sitting well with the organization though and they're trying to keep the show from reaching the airwaves. "Obviously, ABC has lost their minds," they said in a statement. "ABC's Family Channel has several anti-family programs, and…many families have already discovered that ABC Family Channel is anything but family-friendly."
The organization also took a swipe at Hollywood for creating a gay agenda and portraying "that homosexuality is acceptable when scripture states clearly it is a sin." Maybe OMM can team up with the Westboro Baptist Church to get some more press for their campaign?
As of now, J-Lo and her production company, Nuyorican Productions, have not commented on the protest. In other words, they don't care and have bigger things to worry about.
What do you think of the One Million Moms campaign against J-Lo's show?
