Lindsay Lohan's comeback attempt is officially in full swing, but let's just hope this trailer isn't an indication that things will crash before they even get off the ground.

Shortly after a clip from Liz and Dick was released by Lifetime last week, the latest trailer for her other movie The Canyons hit YouTube. And, well, this one looks like it might fall under the so-bad-it's-good category. It's hard to get amped about a film succeeding when the trailer has to play it up to be the campiest thing possible. And the fact there's no dialogue makes us think they're hiding something.

Sure, they managed to get acclaimed and respected director Gus Van Sant for a role in the flick, but the leading role of Christian is played by porn star James Deen (advertised as a "huge" new talent in the trailer). Because we all know the acting in pornos is ah-may-zing. Then again, with a reported budget of just under $160,000 that was funded largely by a campaign on Kickstarter, we probably can't ask for miracles here.

The movie is scheduled to be released sometime early next year.
