Remember those rumors that started floating around after Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart split about Rihanna going after him? Well, RiRi is calling all of those rumors a bunch of “bulls**t” while covering the latest issue of Vogue. She also dished on her friendship with Chris Brown – again – and her BFF Katy Perry.
Since Rihanna is one of the biggest pop stars in the world, she’s going to be the center of plenty of tabloid garbage. When the reports that she was sending flirty text messages to Rob were brought up, she apparently “expressed horror and pronounced it ‘the most bulls**t ever,’ but she also seemed amused,” Vogue writes.
Next topic: Chris Brown. Dishing on her relationship with her abusive ex, she said, “To the world, I feel like there’s no closure. There’s some obsession that’s continued even throughout when we weren’t friends or couldn’t be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn’t let go. They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship because they don’t see anything, really, besides the song.” The song she speaks off is her controversial, hot and heavy track Birthday Cake.
“I feel like as soon as they have closure to it, they will,” she said about the public’s reaction to her friendship with Chris. “But they’re not on the inside. They can’t see what I see, unless they’re sitting in my point of view. I guess I’ll learn to accept that.”
Finally, she shared how she and pop star bestie Katy Perry became so close and even sat next to each other at this year’s MTV VMAs. Rihanna said the two bonded after having to “go through personal things in a very public way” and added that they “genuinely care if each other are OK.”
