Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have long been trailblazers for women in comedy and they're still continuing to break new ground. The long time friends and former SNL cast members were announced as the hosts for the 70th edition of the Golden Globe Awards on January 13, marking the first time that two women have ever hosted a major awards show.

"The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action," said Takla-O'Reilly, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. "The HFPA is thrilled to have the magnetic duo be a part of the show's 70th anniversary!"
