Let this thought marinate in your head for a second: there could be a whole slew of Chris Browns coming up in the next few years!
Whether it's a sincere interest in helping youth or just damage control is unclear, but the important thing is that a bunch of deserving kids are going to get some major assistance courtesy of Breezy. He's starting the Symphonic Love Foundation, a nonprofit that offers art programs to kids and encourages community service. “The name comes from a tattoo that I’ve got [runs hand across his chest] –- something that’s over my heart right now,” he said, according to Huffington Post. “So my heart is where it’s at. The tattoo 'symphonic love' encompasses the positivity of what I’m trying to do – uplifting humanity.”
The foundation is also doing other outreach besides supporting children's art programs. They also intend to work with health and education programs, as well as nonprofits that work to prevent domestic abuse. Yes, you read that correctly. See, Alanis Morissette? Irony is everywhere.
The foundation also gives glowing reviews of the singer's tireless dedication to community service. Naturally, they don't mention that this service was court appointed after he beat the crap out of Rihanna, or that he was recently hauled back into court after a judge expressed concern that he wasn't going to complete the mandated hours on time. But hey, what people don't know won't hurt them.
What do you think of this new charity endeavour?
