The entire cast of Jersey Shore haven't been in the same room since taping for the final season wrapped up earlier this summer, but they all recently reunited (minus The Situation) for the benefit of Hurricane Sandy victims.
Naturally, it was for an MTV reality show special called Restore the Shore, but hey, it was a fundraiser special and they all attempted to raise money, so at least it was for a good cause. Snooki toured the damage in a helicopter as she fought back tears, while Vinny interviewed the families that lost their homes. "I'm lookin' at it and I still can't believe it's real," said Pauly D. "Now here is something that we've partied on, walked on, danced on, did everything on, it's just a happy place, and to see it gone—it's like dead silence."
One former cast member wasn't invited back for the special though! Angelique infamously left the show after getting into a brawl with Snooki during Season 2, but said she reached out to MTV multiple times to appear on the special because her friends and neighbors were badly affected by the hurricane. "This is a time where they should suck it up and stand on one side of the room and let me be there. I am very hurt by this," she said.
The special also featured performances from Gym Class Heroes and Phillip Phillips.
