What was supposed to be Lindsay Lohan's comeback flick has been slammed across the country as a trainwreck of Showgirls proportions.

The long-awaited Lifetime movie Liz and Dick premiered last night and the reviews have been far from flattering. NBCnews.com said the movie suffered from "unintentional hilarity," but most felt it didn't fall into the so-bad-it's-good category and was just plain awful. Entertainment Weekly called Liz and Dick a "dinky, tin-eared production," the Washington Post called it "lifeless," and the San Francisco Chronicle said LiLo's performance ranged from "barely adequate to terrible." Ouch!

On the positive side, there have been some positives to Lindsay acting again: she made a connection who drastically cut her $200K+ tax bill! LiLo bonded with fellow hot mess Charlie Sheen on the set of Scary Movie 5 and talked about how she owed more than $233,000 in unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2010. It looks like Lindsay had a lot to be thankful for during Thanksgiving because the Warlock cut her a check for $100K over the holiday!

Unfortunately, there's still the task at hand of relaunching her career. Her next flick to be released is The Canyons and if the trailer is any indication, we might be seeing LiLo on reality TV sooner than we thought.
