If you’re not familiar with the a capella group Pentatonix then you NEED to be. Getting their start on NBC’s singing competition show The Sing-Off, these five talented singers are making a name for themselves in the industry and bringing back that raw-talent factor.

Chelsea Briggs chatted with PTX at the 2012 American Music Awards and even had them perform their melody of today’s biggest songs that had everyone on the carpet paying attention. Yeah, they’re THAT good.

After just releasing their Christmas album PTXmas and gearing up for their 2013 tour, things are only going to go up for these guys. But don’t expect success to go to their heads. After performing the at the AMAs pre-show, they were left in awe of their moment to shine.

“Even while we were singing I was having a moment on stage like, ‘I can’t believe this is happening. Dancers, lights, AMAs, what?’ We’re only been together a year and a half and we’re so humbled and we feel so blessed with the whole thing,” Scott Hoying said.
