“If I’m scared, be scared,” a tough female voice says in a new teaser trailer from HBO. “Allow it. Release it.” It’s followed by a heartbeat and a lot of quick cutting.

Is this the trailer for a new horror flick? Nope! It’s just Beyonce’s documentary. Who could have thought the seemingly charmed life of Mrs. Jay-Z could be portrayed in such intimidating fashion?

Then again, Beyonce is pretty much the closest thing we have to a Wonder Woman celebrity, so no wonder HBO’s documentary (directed by Bey herself) looks more like a superhero flick than a musician’s autobiography.

The film promises a “raw, real, revealed” look at Blue Ivy’s hot mama.
