Kate Winslet is hoping the third time is the charm when it comes to marriage.
She went down the aisle earlier this month in a super-secret NYC ceremony to Ned Rocknroll (yes, that's actually his name), where she was given away by her BFF and Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
How private are we talking? Not even her parents knew about the ceremony! "I can confirm that Kate Winslet married Ned Rocknroll in NY earlier this month in a private ceremony attended by her two children and a very few friends and family," said her publicist, according to Daily Mail. "The couple had been engaged since the summer."
Ned is the nephew of Virgin mogul Sir Richard Branson and works for the space-travel branch of his empire. He was formerly known as Ned Abel Smith, but legally changed his last name to Rocknroll for reasons that defy basic logic.
This is Ned's second trip down the aisle after his first marriage in 2009, which ended a year later. Kate's other two marriages took place in 1998 and 2003, and she has a daughter Mia, 12, from the first. Even though their track record doesn't bode well for the success of this marriage, here's hoping they can turn the tide this time!
As long as Kate decides to keep her last name.
Do you think this marriage will last?
