After all of her professional success in the second half of 2012, Katie Holmes was probably overdue for a lull in that department.

Her Broadway play Dead Accounts premiered to mixed reviews last November and is now closing seven weeks ahead of schedule. The final show will be on January 6, well before the planned end date of February 24, according to E! Online.

"I am extremely proud of this production and the cast," said producer Jeffrey Finn in a statement. "We are all sad to see Dead Accounts end on Broadway. I look forward to working with this remarkably talented cast and creative team again very soon."

Katie will still have plenty to keep busy next year, though. She's set to film a romcom with Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford called Responsible Adults, in which Chace discovers his latest crush babysat for him 15 years earlier. And her film about a single mom called Molly, which she co-wrote, co-produced and stars in, is set to hit theaters next year. She's also the face for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and is still working on her fashion line Holmes & Yang.

We have a feeling she'll be just fine!
