Kristen Stewart's personal life has provided plenty of comic fodder over the last few months, but now she's looking to deliver the laughs herself on the big screen!

The actress will be starring alongside Ben Affleck in the comedy flick Focus, which will start shooting next spring. "I can confirm that rumor," said Kristen, according to Huffington Post. "It's a comedy. I'm really excited about it. We start shooting in April." Ben has expressed similar sentiments by calling Kristen "terrific." This might be the most unlikely comedic pairing we've seen in a while!

The film will star Kristen as an inexperienced con artist who hooks up with the more seasoned criminal Ben, while their past romance comes into play as they reconnect several years later. And as you might expect, the script also calls for a few steamy and passionate love scenes between the pair.

In the meantime, the next time Ben and Kristen see each other will likely be at this year's Academy Awards. Kristen could snag a nomination for Best Supporting Actress with On the Road, while Ben is expected to receive nominations for Best Picture and Best Director with Argo.
