Of course, during Lea's rise to fame over the last four years, the tabloids have painted a different picture of the Tony Award-winning actress by slamming her for diva-like tendencies on multiple occasions.
"I can assure you that [the diva rumors] aren't real," Lea insists. "It's super-frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, You can think what you want about me, and that's OK. I have the most amazing fans, friends and family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and crew really enjoy working with me. That's all that matters."
It is undeniable that Lea has formed great relationships with her Glee co-stars and crew. Creator Ryan Murphy made the part of Rachel Berry specifically for her, she's dating Cory Monteith off-screen and is even BFF's with co-star Chris Colfer in real life!
In addition, Lea has mingled with some of the show's A-list guest stars, including Kate Hudson, who stuck by her side despite rumors of a feud between the two on set. Lea tells the mag that Kate even called her after the feud rumors surfaced to say, "I want you to know I think you're amazing."
"[Kate] went straight to the top of my list [after that] because it was so classy of her to take a minute to [address the rumor], even though we both knew it was the biggest piece of crap in the whole world," Lea gushes. Too perfect!
Do you believe Lea is a diva behind the scenes? Or is she telling the truth?
