The entire nation was rocked by the tragic school shooting last Friday in Newtown, CT, but for Bruce Jenner, the tragedy hit especially close to home.

The former Olympic gold medalist and co-star on Keeping Up With the Kardashians was a graduate of Newtown High School, where the stadium has since been named after him. In addition, his sister attended kindergarten at Sandy Hook Elementary School. "(It's) unimaginable," he said to E! News. "Not in a million years would you ever think that this quiet little town would have such a terrible, terrible tragedy happen there."

In the wake of the shooting, several TV shows and movie premieres were pulled out of respect for the victims. Yesterday, the premiere of the Quentin Tarantino movie Django Unchained was also cancelled. In addition, Discovery Channel officially confirmed that its reality show American Guns would not be back for a third season, although did not say if the decision was tied to the shooting.
