Adam Lambert and Frank Ocean battle it out at this year’s GLAAD Media Awards, but who will take home the win for Outstanding Music Artist? Joining Adam and Frank in the music category are Scissor Sisters, Rufus Wainwright and Gossip.

As far as film goes, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, ParaNorman, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Your Sister’s Sister and Cloud Atlas are all up for Outstanding Film – Wide Release category.

Switching over to the small screen, Glee, Go On, Happy Endings, Modern Family and The New Normal are nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series and Degrassi, Smash, Grey’s Antaomy, True Blood and The L.A. Complex compete for Outstanding Drama Series.

The TV creating genius Ryan Murphy snagged with nominations for three different projects! American Horry Story: Asylum is up for Outstanding TV Movie or Mini-Series and Glee and The New Normal were nominated as well.

“Images and stories from the LGBT community continue to push support for equality to historic levels,” GLAAD president Herndon Graddick said in a statement. “This year’s nominees enlighten and entertain, but also reflect a new American landscape where a growing majority accept and value their LGBT family, colleagues and friends. Now more than ever, viewers not only accept gay and transgender characters and plot lines, they expect them — just as they both accept and expect LGBT people to be a valuable part of their everyday lives.”

The awards will be handed out in three different ceremonies -– New York on March 16th, Los Angeles on April 20th and San Francisco on May 11th.
