Justin Timberlake has finally made his return to music with “Suit And Tie,” but he hasn’t given up on his budding movie career, either. In fact, he’s managed to bridge the two by playing a musician in the new Coen Brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis.
The movie takes us inside NYC’s Greenwich Village folk music scene during the 60s, starring Oscar Isaacs as the title character and his Drive wife Carey Mulligan, along with John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, and Girls’ Adam Driver.

The standout moment of the trailer is definitely Carey’s character laying into Llewyn:
“I should have had you wear double condoms. Or we shouldn’t have done it in the first place. But if you ever do it again ― which is a favor to women everywhere, you should not ― but if you do, you should be wearing condom on condom, and then wrap it in electrical tape.” Yikes.

The film also re-teams the Coens with legendary music producer T-Bone Burnett, who had great movie-musical success with O Brother, Where Art Thou?
No word yet on when the film will open, but there’s speculation that it may premiere at Cannes in May.
