Frank Ocean is now officially a celebrity: he just had his first run-in with the law!
The R&B singer was pulled over by police last Sunday in California's Eastern Sierra Nevada and they reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. Upon further inspection, cops found a small bag of pot on him and cited him for marijuana possession.
In addition to the citation, Frank faced the arguably heavier charge of having his license temporarily confiscated for being pulled over twice in two days for excessive speeding -- while driving with a suspended license! He was initially pulled over last Monday for driving 90 mph in a 65 mph zone, but had been pulled over by police for driving at the same speed just 24 hours earlier, according to ABC News.
Luckily, a friend traveling with the singer was given permission to drive the vehicle away. We thought pot mellowed you out, but apparently it made Frank crave high speeds!
What do you think of Frank's debut run-in with the law?
