2012 was a pretty big year for the fellas of Imagine Dragons. Their full-length debut album Night Visions came in at number two on the Billboard Album charts and their single “It’s Time” has been certified platinum and is heavy on the radio rotation. Not too shabby.

But this is only the beginning for this now not-so-indie rock band! The guys are continuing their international Night Visions tour, and maybe they'll record some new music? Pretty please?

The guys sat down with Walmart Soundcheck for a Hollywire exclusive to talk about the highlights of their whirlwind year. Check it:

Touring overseas can be the make-it-or-break-it point for a band, but the response that Imagine Dragons received was one that they definitely didn’t expect.

“One of the biggest highlights actually was we got to go overseas for the first time to play a headlining tour and the whole tour sold out and our album hasn’t even come out there yet,” lead singer Dan Reynolds explained. “That was moment for us that was like, ‘Wow. This music really spreading.’”

At the end of the day, having fans form a bond with your music is the greatest accomplishment of all, which is something Imagine Dragons can cross off their list.  “There’s really nothing more valuating then having people connect to your music,” Wayne Sermon said. “To have people reacting and enjoying our music – what else could we ask for?”
