James Franco was just having a little fun when he uploaded a parody video of Justin Bieber's hit song "Boyfriend" alongside rumored girlfriend Ashley Benson, but not everyone can quite take a joke these days!

In fact, the video was removed from James' WhoSay account shortly after it was posted, though not by his own decision. "I was asked to take it down by some people," he explains to E! News. "Bieber didn't contact me, but I don't think he was too happy."

However, James also adds that he wasn't "trying to diss" the Biebs, which may have worked, considering a source tells the site that Justin's never even seen the video.

Okay, so the video did make fun of Justin a bit, with James putting on a wig and doing the singer's signature hair flips while getting pretty raunchy with his co-star, but if it was someone from Justin's camp who requested it be taken down, it's probably someone who needs to lighten up just a bit.

In fact, James also parodied his Spring Breakers co-star (and Justin's ex) Selena Gomez a few months ago, and she thought it was pretty hilarious. Phew!

Do you think Justin cares about the video James made?
