Jennifer Lawrence is an old pro when it comes to using a bow and arrow after plenty of training for The Hunger Games. So much that she isn’t afraid to use it for self-defense in real life!

Gracing the latest cover of Vanity Fair, Jennifer recounts almost having to put her archery skills to the test to defend herself in her own home. “I pulled into my garage and I heard men in my house,” she said. “And I was like, ‘I’m not letting them take my stuff. I had just gotten back from training, so I had the bow and arrows in the back of my car.”

She continued, “I went to my car and I put this quiver on me and I had my bow and I loaded it and I’m walking up the stairs. And I look, and my patio doors were open, and there were guys working right there, and I was like, ‘Heyyy, how you doin’?'”

While Jennifer may have been scared –- and perhaps a little red in the face -– afterwards, she said her friends were more bummed that the “intruders” were just house workers. “They were like, ‘We’ve got to stage someone to break into your house and you can kill them!’ That would be the funniest news ever. Katniss Everdeen actually kills someone with a bow and arrow!” Honestly, we kinda have to agree with them!

Anddddd there is your funny Jennifer Lawrence tidbit of the day!

Would you have done the same thing as Jennifer, and put your archery skills (or maybe lack thereof) to the test?
