Throughout his career, Justin Bieber has been making his dreams come true while also changing the lives of some fans. Over the weekend, he continued to do just that by surprising a seven-year-old leukemia patient who was too sick to attend his show in Salt Lake City on Saturday!
The visit should help counteract some of the negative press the Biebs received in the past week. At least he's still kept up with his old tricks, and also added some ink to the ever-growing of body art covering his flesh. His newest addition holds a lot of meaning (he's already Instagrammed three photos of it), as it's dedicated to his grandfather.
The new tat is a large depiction of the logo for the Stratford Cullitons, a junior ice hockey team from Canada.
"My grandfather always took me to the stratford culliton every friday night this is for u Grampa," Justin captioned the tattoo's original photo, before adding two more pics giving alternate views. Considering Justin is such a big hockey fan, he also expressed his happiness about the NHL lockout finally coming to an end. "HOCKEY IS BACK!!" he tweeted on Sunday.
After the fun of getting tatted up was over, Justin tended to a much more serious matter, after a viral social media campaign led him to a private meeting with 7-year-old Millie Flynn, a leukemia patient from Utah. The Biebs surprised Millie, who was supposed to attend his concert in Salt Lake City that evening, and even sang her his hit song "Baby" in an intimate session with her family.
"It just has re-energized all of us," Millie's mother tells Desert News. "We are ready to keep going and fight harder with all this backing and this fun thing that happened today, and keep going and keep fighting."
The meeting lit up Justin's day just as much as it did Millie's when he Instagrammed his own photo with the girl. "Look at this bundle of joy," he captioned it. "I love her."
Justin's busy weekend comes after photos of him smoking what is alleged to be marijuana were released on the Internet. Looks like he's taking a step in the right direction towards getting his squeaky clean image back!
Do you think Justin can reinvent his image after the marijuana controversy?
