Unfortunately, it looks like Michael Lohan didn't make "be a better dad" his New Year's resolution.

The Father of the Year was quoted in a tabloid as saying that Lindsay Lohan "is getting paid to date rich men" and that mother Dina Lohan "is pimping her out." Yikes!

Insiders claim that while Lindsay isn't having sex with her super-wealthy clients, the dates will last several days and she is paid big bucks to act as arm candy. She was reportedly paid $100,000 to attend a New Year's celebration in London with a man who is third in line to the throne of Brunei, according to Star Magazine.

However, Michael strongly insists his words were taken out of context. "All I DID say when I was arguing with Dina was that Dina was acting like a pimp for allowing and going with Lindsay to an event/personal appearance for money, just so Dina could get her cut!" he said in a statement to E! News. "It's like pimping Lindsay out so Dina can make money! They twisted everything to make it look like I said that!

Either way, perhaps Michael and Dina should be pimping themselves out -- to an employment agency.
