It all began when a paparazzi was struck by oncoming traffic while trying to take a picture of what he thought was Justin in his Ferrari in LA. The person ended up being one of JB’s friends who was borrowing the car at the time.

Miley tweeted, “Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in ’13. Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn’t Princess Di enough of a wake-up call?!”

Justin released a statement concerning the incident, saying “his prayers were with the photographer’s family.” He also added, “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”
