Taylor Swift’s kiss-off to an unnamed ex (Jake Gyllenhaal? Conor Kennedy? Taylor Lautner?) in “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was somewhat sassy, at least by country-pop standards.

But if you really want to get the message that you’re done with your ex across, you hire Samuel L. Jackson.

The Django Unchained star gave us comedic gold by doing a spoken-word cover of part of Taylor’s breakup tune, inserting a few choice words into the ditty. (But no, not that word.)

Since this was radio, the launguage couldn't get too salty, which is why we didn't get any trademark "motherf---ers." Still, we think "You go talk to your dumbass friends" gets Taylor's sentiment across more appropriately.

The gag was aired on London's 95.8 Capital FM, and unfortunately does not include the entire song. In fact, may we suggest an entire spoken-word version of the album Red, as performed by Mr. Jackson?

Maybe Taylor will step it up for her inevitable Harry Styles tune and include some of Samuel's explicit phrasology.

Do you approve of Samuel's cover?
