Life must go on! Just days after their rumored split on a holiday vacation, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles were spotted out separately -- and didn't look to be feeling too glum over the break up!

Both halves of Haylor seem to be keeping fairly busy, relying on support from their pals to help heal the break up wounds. While Taylor was seen heading to a friends private home in Los Angeles, Harry headed to the studio with his One Direction bandmates back in England.

Justt days ago, Taylor was photographed looking super sad leaving her vacation from the Virgin Islands, which she took with Harry, alone. Now, she's all smiles for the camera -- and looking stylish, too, in her fitted, black-and-white striped dress and signature red lipstick. Taylor will make her first official appearance since the split on Wednesday night at the People's Choice Awards.

Coincidentally, Taylor's Hollywood BFF Selena Gomez is going through a New Year break up of her own. She split with Justin Bieber just before New Year's Eve, leaving their own vacation earlier, in a similar manner. Can you say BFF break up jam session?!

Meanwhile, Harry is keeping busy himself, hitting the studio (and possibly recording a Swift-esque break up track)!? He even stopped to chat with some lucky fans on the way, and didn't seem bothered by their company one bit. Although it was originally speculated that Harry and Taylor would walk the People's Choice Awards carpet together (1D is nominated for four awards), it seems the boys are staying at home and sitting this one out.
