Stars like Rihanna, Katy Perry and Pink were probably expecting to strut down the red carpet at the 2013 Grammy Awards this Sunday in their typical barely-there dresses. But the Grammys are putting a stop to that real quick with a new rule that puts a ban on showing just about any and every body part. How are we supposed to be envious of RiRi’s rockin’ bod?!
Since this year’s show is going to try and be a bit more conservative than usual (good luck with that), here are looks from that past that would definitely be banned at Grammys 2013.
1. Jennifer Lopez
Come on, you knew this one was coming. No nip slips allowed this year and while we’re sure double-stick tape was J-Lo’s BFF that night, it wouldn’t fly this year.
2. Toni Braxton
I spy a bum! You know what that means –- ban!
Neither of these looks would work for RiRi this year. First off, the white one could easily show off some inappropriate areas and, according to the Grammys, the black shows wayyy too much skin -- even though she looks freakin’ flawless.

One wrong move and it would be all over for Eve.
5. Lady Gaga
While this may be a bit conservative for Gaga, the fact that you can see her bejeweled underwear would probably make the suits and ties uncomfortable. (Maybe that's what they meant by "puffy areas" around genitals?)
6. Jennifer Love Hewitt
JLH is about to pop out of this red number any second. Now we can’t have that, can we?
And finally, this is what the Grammys mean when they say "Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic."
What do you think of the new ban from the Grammys? Which star are you curious to see at this year’s show?
