Ben Affleck may have gotten snubbed in the Best Director category this year at the Academy Awards, but he's making up for it by winning just about everything else.

Ben took top honors at the 65th annual Director Guilds Awards by winning the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film. He's already won Best Director at the Golden Globes, while Argo also won the award for Best Drama. Last week, the film was also the victor at the SAG Awards and Producers Guild Awards, cementing its frontrunner status for the Oscars in just a few weeks.

"There was a point in my life where I was really down and really confused ... didn't know what was going to happen and I thought 'I could be a director'," said Ben. "I don't believe this makes me a real director, but I think I am on my way."

As for that whole Oscar snub? Ben said he isn't losing sleep over it. "I have nothing but respect for the Academy. You are not entitled to win anything," he said.

The other notable winner of the night was Lena Dunham, whose show Girls won for Best Comedy Series. Check out the full winners list here!
