Well, that didn't take long...
We normally have to wait hours for a major Oscar upset to take place (if it even happens at all), but the first award handed out at the 2013 Oscars was a shocker as Christoph Waltz won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Django Unchained.
Despite having already won a Best Supporting Actor award for another Quentin Tarantino flick, Inglourious Basterds, Christoph was considered a heavy underdog against Tommy Lee Jones and Robert De Niro. However, he pulled off the upset and is now two-for-two at the Oscars.
In his acceptance speech, Christoph graciously thanked the other nominees and gave an especially heartfelt thanks to Quentin.
What do you think of Christoph winning?
