The girl with the dragon tattoo is back!

While Rooney Mara played Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher’s American version of the bestselling thriller, it was Noomi Rapace who originated the role in the Swedish version. Now the Prometheus actress rejoins the director of Dragon Tattoo as a woman who gets involved with Colin Farrell for nefarious purposes in Dead Man Down.

The stylish thriller features Terrence Howard as a criminal who looks like very bad news and promises to be pretty dark with some impressive cinematography. It’ll also be the grittiest film Colin’s been in in quite some time. As for Noomi, she's playing a pretty similar character to Lisbeth Salander ― a young woman who has been wronged by a man, and is now getting her deserved revenge.

The film opens March 8.
