“I mean really, can Daniel Day-Lewis do this?” Hugh said before belting out the first part of the Gettysburg Address in his signature deep singing voice. Not gonna lie, it was pretty impressive. Maybe Lincoln and Les Miserables should have teamed up for one Oscar super-flick!
“I don’t know why I didn’t get cast. Really, I have no idea,” he joked. Since the Oscars are this Sunday, he still has tonight and Friday night to make his late show rounds. Maybe he should dress up as the other Best Actor nominees -– Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook, Joaquin Phoenix in The Master and Denzel Washington in Flight. Get practicing, Hugh!
