A lot of musicians who host Saturday Night Live have a little trouble being truly funny. But not Justin Timberlake.

The “Suit And Tie” singer has made himself an honorary member of the cast thanks to some memorable appearances and some truly classic Digital Shorts. Now we get the good news that he’s about to host again.

Here are our 7 favorite JT-on-SNL moments!

7. "Single Ladies"

This really needs no introduction. Justin in a unitard and heels? Hilarious.

6. "Immigrant Tale"

One of JT's "ancestors" predicts his great, great, great grandson, who will bring "sexy back" and sing like a woman. He also says he'll lie about his virginity, which gets a major response from the studio audience... since it was his first acknowledgement that he and Britney Spears weren't exactly honest about their chastity.

5. "Motherlover"

"Every Mother's Day needs a Mother's Night," the Lonely Island boys sing on this one. Not sure we agree with that logic, but unexpected guest spots from Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson make this yet another Digital Short classic.

4. Britney Spears monologue

Before he was an SNL staple, an N'Sync-era JT crashed Britney's opening monologue and did a pretty funny sketch about accidentally sleeping with Chris Kattan.

3. "3-Way (The Golden Rule)"

Andy and JT reprise their infamous Digital Short personas for a song about a couple buddies who have a threeway with Lady Gaga... which totally isn't gay, because it's in a threeway!

2. "I'm Not Gonna Sing Tonight"

Few people could ever be concerned about upstaging Lady Gaga, but Justin is one for whom that's a possibility. He pretended he wasn't going to sing during his opening monologue, and "not gonna do that thing where my voice goes high!" in falsetto. Pretty genius, and a nice sendup of his image as a smooth-crooning ladies' man.

1. "Dick in a Box"

Obviously our #1! Surprised? Not only did Justin give us a terrific last-minute gift idea if we ever forget Valentine’s Day or an anniversary, he also went viral as one of the funniest vids out there. There's not much left to say about this Digital Short that kicked off JT's streak of appearances, so just watch and enjoy.

Justin's next appearance on SNL is March 9, and is sure to spawn more classic moments. We can't wait!

What do you hope to see from Justin next on SNL?
