Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears were once one of the most beloved Hollywood couples in all the land, and now... he's calling her a bitch!?

Well, that's what was assumed during Justin's DirecTv Super Bowl Concert, when he introduced his Britney-inspired hit "Cry Me A River" by saying, "Sometimes in life you think you found the one, but then one day you find out that she is just some bitch."

After getting a lot of flack for the comment, the former 'NSYNC-er cleared the air himself (via Twitter, of course). "Ok. I see you. Wouldn't disrespect ANYONE personally. Ever. I do love that saying though *with accent* ," he wrote.

So, it turns out that Justin was just making a general statement with his pre-song comment, but it's pretty safe to say we'll now definitely spend the rest of the day picturing him saying "It's Britney, Bitch...." *with accent.*
