Time for another wonderful edition of celebrity feuds: Twitter edition!

One Direction’s Liam Payne got into a bit of Twitter scuffle with 80s pop star Boy George after what sounds like a bit of a misunderstanding. But hey, that’s just what it looks like from an outsider’s perspective. It all started at last night’s Brit Awards when Liam allegedly didn’t pose for a photo with Boy’s niece.

Taking to Twitter, Boy George wrote, “Top marks to Harry Styles for stopping for a picture with my niece and Bollox’s to Liam and the disrespectful wander of a minder!” He obviously was getting a bit of hate from Directioners and later tweeted, “One direction fans stop bothering me!”

Liam definitely wasn’t intimidated by the 80s star and explained his side of the story in a lengthy tweet, claiming that he seemed to have gotten Liam and Niall Horan a bit mixed up. He wrote:

“@BoyGeorge now now boy lets not tell porkies firstly thanks for getting my name wrong three times secondly then asking me where is liam?…akward then when you finally got it right saying you wanted Niall instead. if you would have asked me for a picture i would have stopped bro I just did what you said and pointed niall out for you so u just keep wearing ur strange hats and enjoy yourself my little Georgie pie… It’s still not cool you just look weird.”

Boy George didn’t respond to Liam personally, but he did have one final tweet for Directioners: “Please don’t reply to any 1D fans on my behalf! I have spent all day blocking them! Yawn!” wrote the singer, adding, “This is proof that most fans of teeny bands are complete morons!” Yikes! We doubt this fight is over just yet.

Whose side are you on? Boy George or Liam’s?
